Stainless steel case, brushed bezel, heptagonal crown set with a faceted black synthetic spinel, matte grey grained dial, steel sword-shaped hands with luminescent material, minute track engraved under the crystal, sapphire crystal. Interchangeable stainless steel bracelet with “SmartLink” adjustment system, second strap in rubber with interchangeable stainless steel folding buckle. Both bracelet and strap are equipped with the “QuickSwitch” interchangeability system. Case width: 43.3 mm, thickness: 12.4 mm. Water-resistant to 10 bar ¹ (approx. 100 meters/330 feet).

The famous Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont wanted to be able to tell the time while flying. In 1904, Louis Cartier answered his wish. The friendship between two pioneers gave rise to one of the first wristwatches. Its dial with rounded angles, seamless curve of the horns, and exposed screws made for an iconic timepiece that would inspire countless variations.
